Damage and Reason of Screw Conveyor Spiral

　　Last year end we shipping 2 sets screw conveyor to India client for conveying rice pretion and the length is 4 meters and tube diameter is 133mm from food grade stainless steel 304.

　　These days, the client told us that the spiral out of shape in the discharge parts from one equipment. The material to be conveyed is light powder, and it is reasonable to say that the material not caused the spiral blade out of shape. So i inquired our engineer them gave the below information:

　　In generally, the screw conveyor is not to clogging or the discharge port does not discharge, it can run at low speed, reduce energy consumption, and the conveying distance of the screw conveyor is long. It can be installed in multiple stages in series and convey materials over long distances. However, when the domestic garbage and organic plants are transported, the spiral blades also damaged.

　　And, if the spiral blade made thicker it will be more wear-resistant and durable. The spiral blade wear is mainly on the edge of the blade. The farther away from the rotating axis, the greater the force, the more the number of cracks are formed.

　　The wear parts of screw conveyor are hoisting bearings, spiral ends and spiral blades. In addition, except the temperature, environment and materials natural reasons, there are structural factors and human factors.

　　So when you using the screw conveyor, please pay attention to the above information.
