DY inclined portable belt conveyor can used for waste disposal industry

The client from Ghana who used the conveyor to convey the organic waste(fruits and vegetables) from waste yard to hopper, the hopper is 2.87 meters high from ground.

This waste was processed in the hopper and resulting in biogas and organic fertilisers.

The belt conveyor length is 10 meters, belt width is 800 mm, inclined angle is 14 degrees and belt speed is 0.3 m/s.

The belt is normal herringbone belt and thickness is 5 mm. And the conveyor with carbon steel frame on both side.

Every day, 1 tonne of waste is brought in, which will be increased to 25 tonnes per day as of the summer of 2017.
